A wonderful birthday today. The kids came through in the morning and gave me a wonderful present that I'd been hoping for, for a long time. They went back to school today so Calum and I went downtown for the day. We walked around, window shopped, spent a chunk of time in Sur la Table then went for lunch at PF Changs - delicious.
I was so full of excitement today. I'm not sure where it came from, but I had been really looking forward to turning 40, and it did not disappoint!
